Science on Saturday will take place on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, from 9-11 am.
Science on Saturday is a fun day of activities to get kids excited about science! Every semester at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO, kids in grades 1-5 from the surrounding area (even as far as Macon!) come to Magruder Hall and attend 20 minute science-related classes.
The Truman State University chapter of Beta Beta Beta, a co-ed biology honors fraternity, has sponsored this event for several years, and it is a valuable experience to all who take part! This year, BBB is joined by the Wildlife Association, the National Education Association, Out-in-STEM, and the American Medical Student Association to host SOS.
