Science on Saturday will take place on April 27th, 2024.
Science on Saturday is a fun day of activities to get kids excited about math and science! Every semester at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO, kids from grades 1-5 from the surrounding area (even as far as Macon!) come to Magruder Hall and attend classes (around 20 minutes long) that are science or math-related.
The Truman State University chapter of Beta Beta Beta, a co-ed biology honors fraternity, has sponsored this event for several years, and it is a valuable experience to all who take part! This year, BBB is joined by Alpha Chi Sigma (AXE), American Chemical Society, American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the Wildlife Association, and other organizations to host SOS.
